With a background in hospitality and retail design, Katy works across interiors, furniture and upholstery — creating considered spaces and individual pieces with a strong focus on materials, proportion, colour and craftsmanship.
From hospitality and retail environments to carefully considered residential projects, the work ranges from spatial and interior design to bespoke joinery, furniture and upholstery. This also includes reupholstering existing pieces, giving well-loved furniture a new lease of life through both modern and traditional upholstery techniques.
The approach is practical as well as creative: understanding how something should look, how it needs to function, and how it can be made well — whether creating something new or thoughtfully restoring and transforming what already exists.
Based in Cambridgeshire, Katy takes on projects across Cambridgeshire, London and the wider South East.
Whether designing a restaurant, specifying a fabric for a chair or developing a bespoke piece of joinery, the same principles apply: good proportions, thoughtful materials, attention to detail and a respect for how things are made.

Upholstery can be approached as a simple transformation of an existing piece or as part of a wider interior scheme.
